We may have seen the last of bone-jarring hits in the NFL because of the new tackling and running regulations the league has imposed on its players.
Keeping the head up at all times and leading with hands and arms first will take a lot of oomph out of the tackling, and the runners will no longer be able to lower their heads into contact.
The league is obviously doing everything it can think of to protect the head and neck area of the players which is understandable, but the game is now changed forever.
I'll keep posting videos from time to time of some big hits from years gone by to pacify your desire to see guys get hurt while playing what was once the toughest sport in the world.
