In my opinion, Cam Newton did not pass the eye-test as a serviceable NFL quarterback this year. He did show some signs of being capable along the way, but in the end those flashes were few and far between.
Below is a look at some quarterback categories in which Newton is compared to other quarterbacks in an attempt to get a better idea of where he fit-in statistically.
