CT's Week-14 Betting Best Bets

Did you actually come to this article for tips on how to win money this week?

Oh ok, good. If that is the case you have the ammunition you need right here.

Just make note of the tips you get here and take the opposite and you should end-up not in the red when it's all said and done, and that is considered a winning week in sports betting, when you're not down money.

So, here goes...........

Sunday 1:00

Chargers -1 vs Falcons (over/under 49)

The Falcons have been up-and-down all season. You never know what you're going to get from them, but it's usually a loss.

The Chargers are coming off of a 45-0 beat-down by the Patriots.

It seems like teams may have found a way to limit rookie QB Justin Herbert. The Chargers' only wins this year of come against the Bengals, Jaguars and Jets.

The Falcons may not be a very good team this year but they are certainly better than those three teams.

I'll take the one-point here and lay $30 on the Falcons for the slight upset win.

That probably means that Justin Herbert will regain his touch and throw for 300+ yards and the Chargers will blow-out the Falcons and cost me the $30 plus the juice.

Sunday night

Buffalo -2 vs Pittsburgh (over/under 49)

The Bills offense seems to have hit its stride. Josh Allen seems to improve every game as of late. The Bills defense hasn't really been tested very often this season to this point, but it tends to play much better at home.

The Steelers seem to be heading in the opposite direction. Their running game in non-existent, their wide receivers can't catch anymore and injuries are mounting.

The defense will be the key if they are going to win this one, but that unit will be without CB Joe Haden, MLB Robert Spillane and MLB Vince Williams.

They are already dealing with the season-ending injuries to MLB Devin Bush and OLB Bud Dupree. This unit isn't what it was earlier in the season

The offenses inability to run the ball and control the clock will have their defense on the field too often.

I'll give the points and take the Bills for $50.

So, the Steelers will probably regain their running game with James Connor back off the Covid list and the defense will make enough plays and force enough turnovers to win this win late.

Monday night

Baltimore -3 at Cleveland (over/under 46.5)

The Browns are coming off of a huge win in Tennessee, where they made a big step towards securing a playoff spot. Baker Mayfield thru for four touchdowns and the rushed for over 100-yards. They put up 458-yards and averaged 6.5-yards per play against Tennessee's top-10 defense.

The Ravens cruised past the Cowboys last week 34-17, but had lost three straight games before that one. They find themselves two games out of the playoff hunt and will need to win this one if they are going to hang onto their playoff hopes.

Both teams need this one. The offenses seem to be playing better than the defenses.

I'll lay $50 on the over at 46.5 in this one.

So, expect a defensive battle and a clock-burning running game by both offenses.

If you're taking any action this week, good luck to you!
