Wikipedia:
"Gonzalez was born on June 28, 2002, in Carrollton, Texas, and grew up in The Colony, Texas. He attended The Colony High School, where he was rated a four-star prospect as a cornerback and wide receiver. Gonzalez initially committed to play college football at Purdue University before enrolling at the University of Colorado."
"Gonzalez was born to a Colombian family. His father, Hector, is 6-foot-9 and played college basketball at the University of Texas at El Paso before playing semi-professionally in Colombia. He has three sisters, Melissa, Samantha, and Lily. Melissa (University of Texas) and Samantha (University of Miami) were two-time All-Americans in track and field and represent Colombia in international events. Gonzalez is the brother-in-law of NFL quarterback David Blough through marriage to Melissa."

NFL Draft Buzz:
"Has elite speed and quickness showcased by his almost Olympic track time. He's got ideal size at 6-1 and 200 lbs and was outstanding following his transfer to Oregon in 2022 where he finally put up a season worthy of his athletic ability.
He however isn't a perfect prospect - his technique is a little unpolished and he'll need development at the next level, and could struggle against bigger receivers at the NFL level early in his career.
Gonzalez has crazy upside and has the potential to be a lockdown corner, however, if he fails to develop he'll be a fringe starter - despite this risk he's a no brainer first-round pick, with some scouts give giving him top 15 looks in the 2023 NFL Draft."
Walter Football:
"Gonzalez is a big corner who is fast, athletic, and is able to run the route to prevent separation. Some team sources feel Gonzalez has the best skill set of any corner in the 2023 NFL Draft, but they wanted him to show more fight and competitiveness. They feel if Gonzalez improves in those areas, he could be a No. 1 corner in the NFL. However, they feel that Gonzalez is a finesse player and lacks fight. Gonzalez helped himself at the combine with a fabulous workout, showing size, speed, and fluid athleticism. "
Scouts Inc:
"Gonzalez is a talented press corner with the length to get his hands on receivers, the foot speed to mirror a receiver's release, the fluidity to flip his hips and the speed to run with receivers. He shows the burst to recover quickly when he gets caught out of phase, and he's smooth changing directions matching up underneath. Gonzalez also closes well breaking on passes thrown in front of him and plays the ball rather than the man. He's versatile enough to match up over the slot and on the outside, but he needs to get stronger to improve his ability to come down with 50-50 balls."
NFL.com:
"Explosive outside cornerback possessing a rare blend of physical and athletic traits. Gonzalez plays with fluid hips and blazing top-end speed, which should help him match against top-end targets in the future. He can rough up the release or use mirror-and-match footwork from press-man coverage and he has all the tools to become a highly capable route shadow. His technique will get away from him at times and he doesn't play with the level of instincts or ball skills that should make heavy ball production automatic. His testing numbers could send his draft stock skyrocketing, but the ingredients are already present to become a feared CB1 if he plays to his gifts."
CBS Sports:
"Christian Gonzalez has great length and good top-end speed to be a man coverage cornerback in the NFL. He can improve as a press man coverage cornerback by landing his jams more consistently. Despite improved ball production, Gonzalez can do a better job of getting his head back to the ball and breaking down his feet to tackle in space."
Pro Football Focus:
"At 6-foot-2 and 201 pounds, he moves extremely well for his size. This past year, he tallied four interceptions and nine forced incompletions for the Ducks. He’s an excellent tackler, too, missing only 6% of his attempts in 2022. Gonzalez is one of the most versatile cornerbacks in this class - one who can excel in either a man- or zone-heavy scheme."
