Cowboys draft the son of their tearful team scout

The Cowboys used a 6th-round pick on the son of their long-time scout Chris Vaughn.

Vaughn even got to make the call to his son when the team decided he would be their selection.

“Look here, man, do you want to come to work with me next week?”, Vaughn asked his son with an emotional, cracking voice.

“I wouldn’t mind that at all,” his son Deuce replied.

Deuce Vaughn is a 5' 5" 179Lb running back from Kansas State.

His size would lead one to believe that his days on an NFL roster may be limited, but he is said to have a great work ethic and perhaps has a skill-set as a niche player that can find a way to stick.

Last season he rushed for 1,430-yards and 8 TD's with a 5.3-yard per carry average.

There are some rather comical pictures of Deuce as to how he compares size-wise to other player on the field.

He has however found a girlfriend who is not taller than he is.
